Stranded on a Dream

I’m searching for words that are easy to understand,

Self descriptive words that allow the mind to expand,

Expand beyond the thoughts of normalcy in each life,

Allowing sight of the unknown without creating strife,

Imagine seeing that that moved you to the far beyond,

A moment in time that is yours of which you are so fond,

I had a moment in time that held my heart’s beat to cease,

Be patient while I dig into my soul’s depth seeking release,

Dear heart it’s time to reveal the nuances of your love,

Tell of the time your eyes captured a vision from above,

I am now stranded on a dream captured from my mind,

The time and a dream are one and the same I now find,

As you dropped to lay at my side the event of my life came,

A gentle change of position placed you there all the same,

So cute and beautiful combined to be one creation of you,

I am dying to hold the genius of your essence if it’s not taboo,

Your position being so perfect must be of our God’s creation,

I am stranded on a dream of holding you to bring my elation,

At last, it is now my time to view your beauty and pureness,

Skin so perfect in every way that I must kiss your tenderness,

Realize I plead that seldom does God place visions to see,

Especially, you must understand, Heaven’s visions for me,

Seldom has my breath escaped my form as I looked at you,

It was then that all became preciously clear for me to view,

As I attempted to share my moments of His given mission,

I fumbled my delivery of words to you describing my vision,

It was you, more beautiful and perfect than ever seen before,

Know this I implore, each time I see you, I love you, even more.

The end, by Pat for Patti

I’ve loved you since our first meeting. Since 1965 my love

for you has grown every day since love’s initial arrival.

I love you,

Pat
