As the night fades to very late it is soon early morning,

That the time passed so quickly with you is troubling,

Nothing in my life means more than being with you,

But the quality of the time is of extreme importance too,

As I worked tonight and you patiently sat at my side,

Relief came to sit with my four point five decade bride,

This poem is quickly written for love words it’s true,

This quick little poem is written to say I love you.
