I wake to find my angel at my side,<\/span><\/p>\n

So blessed I am to see my lovely bride,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Years forty-four plus more flew quickly by,<\/span><\/p>\n

Enough quick time to bring out a sigh,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon this year will make year forty-five,<\/span><\/p>\n

With you at my side it’ll quickly arrive,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moments escape the bonds of time,<\/span><\/p>\n

Saved in time by me writing a rhyme,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The essence of you overwhelms my whole,<\/span><\/p>\n

Keep forever my angel, the heart you stole,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s mine but it’s yours so I know it’s mine,<\/span><\/p>\n

Come, morning angel, you’re my opening line,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I cherish cherishing you, so odd to say,<\/span><\/p>\n

And I love loving you more every day,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As an angel takes flight with fluttering wings,<\/span><\/p>\n

She takes along with her my heart of all things,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But it’s yours to keep as it belongs only to you,<\/span><\/p>\n

Each beat it beats is another for you, it’s true,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Take my heart but I pray you return for me, too,<\/span><\/p>\n

You see my angel, all of me loves all of you.<\/span><\/p>\n
