From this hospital bed there is so little I can do,<\/span><\/p>\n

But most of all it gives me more alone time with you,<\/span><\/p>\n

I just studied a red rose from a photograph you took,<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything you do is magic, you should write a book,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As I studied the red rose, I tried to absorb every bit,<\/span><\/p>\n

Never realizing how intricate until I took time to study it,<\/span><\/p>\n

As the rose is beautiful you are beautiful in every way,<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike an aging rose you are more beautiful each day,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Every wave and line on each rose petal is perfection,<\/span><\/p>\n

Such is so of you, my angel, even beyond imagination,<\/span><\/p>\n

Each worry line upon your angelic face are sadly mine,<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s no way I could repay you even if given the time,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your beautiful, naturally red lips remind me of a red rose,<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t know why it is so, it is a thought that just arose,<\/span><\/p>\n

The aroma of a red rose is often a scent from paradise,<\/span><\/p>\n

But I know the secret to paradise is in your hazel eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n
