I\u2019m a stranger in the night searching so alone,<\/span><\/p>\n

I long for you along with that lone star that shone,<\/span><\/p>\n

Our first kiss of love awoke the man inside of me,<\/span><\/p>\n

Put a letter in a bottle that I threw into the sea,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My brain\u2019s so tired from wondering if you truly care,<\/span><\/p>\n

If you find my bottled letter placed with love in there,<\/span><\/p>\n

Read it fully through to understand the hardest part,<\/span><\/p>\n

I learned tears falling from my eyes start in my heart,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So many letters I\u2019ve written to you wondering why,<\/span><\/p>\n

I should\u2019ve said more about love under our Texas sky,<\/span><\/p>\n

If only I had said \u201cI love you\u201d while I held you there,<\/span><\/p>\n

Had I said it too many times before you knew I care,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When did maturity start and my words become real?<\/span><\/p>\n

That one magical kiss awakened true love I now feel,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m dying inside trying to understand what I should do,<\/span><\/p>\n

A dark foreign sky can\u2019t convey love I need from you,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So many times saying I love you seemed a game I guess,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve beat myself senseless as I review my tangled mess,<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019re perfect as you are, there\u2019s no doubt about it now,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve written more letters explaining my words somehow,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They are piled in a corner ready to be turned into waste,<\/span><\/p>\n

Now I fear my future orders have created a lover\u2019s haste,<\/span><\/p>\n

Afraid I\u2019ve upset you with the letters I sent, now I fear all,<\/span><\/p>\n

When I gain courage to write heartbreak creates a stall,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From Heaven to hell, a journey easily taken by the heart,<\/span><\/p>\n

Wouldn\u2019t it be sad if an unknown event has torn us apart?<\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps your mother has interfered in true love\u2019s pathway,<\/span><\/p>\n

And today new orders bring me down and send me away,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I watch the bottle dance to and fro while thinking of you,<\/span><\/p>\n

The full moon on the ocean\u2019s edge is beautiful to view,<\/span><\/p>\n

As the moon crosses the Texas sky I pray you see it there,<\/span><\/p>\n

And maybe you\u2019ll think of me with love, no matter where.<\/span><\/p>\n
