Standing in the falling rain with no sunshine anywhere around,<\/span><\/p>\n

Staying in the only shade from rain I\u2019m in sync with the sound,<\/span><\/p>\n

Raindrops make magic sounds that feel like love should be near,<\/span><\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t it funny how everything I do makes we wish you were here,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And when you come walking towards me from the setting sun,<\/span><\/p>\n

The sun behind your head glows to highlight you as a holy one, <\/span><\/p>\n

Come hold my hand and lean against me as I hide from the rain, <\/span><\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t this a shiny day when your in my hold, I no longer feel pain,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Closed my eyes for a moment or two to awaken to a sunshine day,<\/span><\/p>\n

I can feel your love in the silence of the moment with nothing to say,<\/span><\/p>\n

To feel your breath upon my chest is a miracle I can never repay,<\/span><\/p>\n

So many times the end has drawn near to depart so we can play,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Standing in the sunshine with you I thank God for every moment,<\/span><\/p>\n

I want Him to know that I stand in His glory to escape the torment,<\/span><\/p>\n

To be sent into your arms every time desperation came near to be,<\/span><\/p>\n

The greatest gift (you) God could give a man He has given to me.<\/span><\/p>\n
