What time is right I wonder when love enters the heart,<\/span><\/p>\n

Is avoidance the answer when my feelings of love start,<\/span><\/p>\n

Or do I say it aloud to carry my emotions of love your way,<\/span><\/p>\n

Is a touch upon your flesh allowed or wait for another day,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I knew a man or said truthfully a boy who went off to war,<\/span><\/p>\n

He delayed telling her of his love until he had done more,<\/span><\/p>\n

The last chance to tell her so wasn\u2019t as he wanted to be,<\/span><\/p>\n

He should have said it loud as he died in combat tragically,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From day one I have shouted aloud the love I carry inside,<\/span><\/p>\n

Before going on missions I wrote you a letter in case I died,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve carried this admiration, along with love since we met,<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything about you in our first meeting I will never forget,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve compared so many women to you for all of my life,<\/span><\/p>\n

Long ago I would say no one compares to my future wife, <\/span><\/p>\n

Now time is making it more difficult to write poetry of you,<\/span><\/p>\n

The lines wobble and drop as this MD eye disease will do, <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m prepared to accept it yet I\u2019m troubled I won\u2019t see you,<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the voice I\u2019ll create images without sight\u2019s clue,<\/span><\/p>\n

Still I\u2019ll compare and no doubt you will win out even more,<\/span><\/p>\n

Your kindness is beyond expected its impossible to ignore, <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A gift given to me by our Lord creates thanks in my heart,<\/span><\/p>\n

More than fifty four years I\u2019ve loved you from the very start,<\/span><\/p>\n

To be so adorably beautiful in profile or seen any other way, <\/span><\/p>\n

You have a lack of ego when reality says it would be okay,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Although their actions are with fault seldom do you say so,<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead I\u2019ll hear kindness from you in turn it makes me glow,<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year I learn valuable lessons that bring change to me,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve calmed and become a better man wouldn\u2019t you agree?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You\u2019ve remained beautiful year after year with a small frame,<\/span><\/p>\n

People recognize you fifty years later and call you by name,<\/span><\/p>\n

I am proud to be seen with you and to be \u201cPatti\u2019s husband\u201d,<\/span><\/p>\n

Your claim on me is shown to all as you always hold my hand,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Those that know can see it in me as love burns in my eyes, <\/span><\/p>\n

If at a party or in a crowd my eyes track you in open skies,<\/span><\/p>\n

The fire I carry always burns for you it\u2019s ignited by your swing,<\/span><\/p>\n

Please understand my outspoken ways it\u2019s part of my thing,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My thing of course is loving you as it\u2019s large within my heart,<\/span><\/p>\n

Love fills my mind, soul, and heart, desire fills the sexual part,<\/span><\/p>\n

Desire within my loins cries out in request of your stimulation,<\/span><\/p>\n

Words of desirous want will always get my love and admiration,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As time grows scarce even small moments become precious,<\/span><\/p>\n

Moments of loving become memories of love, not to be vicarious,<\/span><\/p>\n

Imaginary love is but a dream of want without loves\u2019 sensation,<\/span><\/p>\n

Let wanton dreams instill lustful desire to create sexual elation, <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shared thoughts of desirous deeds will put two in sexual act,<\/span><\/p>\n

Lustful words whispered to hear will enhance and not distract, <\/span><\/p>\n

Absent time approaches quickly as does absent vision for he,<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t fear time\u2019s advance, for your love counters if I can\u2019t see. <\/span><\/p>\n
