Inebriation has flooded my bearings to induce a staggering walk,<\/span><\/p>\n

Words flow from my heart but don\u2019t reach my tongue when I talk,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve loved you from my beginning that began from a vision at night,<\/span><\/p>\n

A vision of hope to ease my lonely heart revealed to me by sight,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each word of praise I\u2019ve given you are laced with truth and love,<\/span><\/p>\n

Words whispered in your ear or spoken aloud I also share above,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heaven is with me at all times and I love the sky\u2019s heavenly blue,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve soared the blue of heaven fueled by kisses given me by you,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Upon a time four years ago my heart filled with love for only you,<\/span><\/p>\n

My heart filled with growing love but three years later I became blue,<\/span><\/p>\n

I wrote a letter home to tell you I would be there, that I had not forgot,<\/span><\/p>\n

Then came that empty month that was void of the one I had sought,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve lost your love I\u2019m sure but how are you lost when I came to you?<\/span><\/p>\n

Drink delivered drunkenness creating a fog I couldn\u2019t feel through,<\/span><\/p>\n

Brothers in arms they\u2019re called yet they stole from me and what for?<\/span><\/p>\n

I saved to buy a ring for you to have it stolen by my comrades of war,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A far greater pain felt was no letter from you, it\u2019s troublesome to me,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve lost your love it seems before the ring was stolen by our military,<\/span><\/p>\n

No doubt I\u2019m \u201clost of heart\u201d would be the term if I tried to describe,<\/span><\/p>\n

Is there a doctor of love for pain of heart, what would he prescribe?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I endured a hospital stay of three months but it\u2019s reward is I\u2019m out,<\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps someday I\u2019ll find out what your love\u2019s departure was about,<\/span><\/p>\n

You will be my first love and I have no doubt you\u2019ll be the only one,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ll never marry, as I journey through life my journey of love is done,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As eternity\u2019s journey goes by my love for you will endure through life,<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019re the inspiration of heart that helped me survive wartime strife,<\/span><\/p>\n

This rhyme of heartache bears truth of love that I carried four years,<\/span><\/p>\n

I wiped away tears of home as seeing you again brought new* tears,<\/span><\/p>\n

End 1969<\/span><\/p>\n

New 2019<\/span><\/p>\n

A miracle of love occurred as has happened in my life many a time,<\/span><\/p>\n

This paragraph I write now came fifty years later to finish this rhyme,<\/span><\/p>\n

The warmth of sunshine best describes how your love envelopes me,<\/span><\/p>\n

For over fifty four years I\u2019ve loved you and you are still beautiful to see,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve tried throughout my life to convince you of how beautiful you are,<\/span><\/p>\n

I fell in love with a woman although barely in her teens a woman by far,<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019re still a teenager to me although your the oldest teenager I know,<\/span><\/p>\n

Still a tender kiss upon my lips fills me with love and makes me glow.<\/span><\/p>\n

The end. 😘 I love you.<\/span><\/p>\n
