Outside a tender Texas breeze carries dissolving time away,<\/span><\/p>\n

Minutes fall into passing hours as hours fall into a passing day,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve loved you every moment of my life since my awakening came,<\/span><\/p>\n

A first sight love came to me as I realized you would take my name,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Love carries lovers across time\u2019s realm at speeds beyond the norm,<\/span><\/p>\n

Those burdened with life that know love\u2019s absence in some form,<\/span><\/p>\n

Endure barriers of time\u2019s resistance that slows each click beyond,<\/span><\/p>\n

Hours can feel tenfold as tragedy unfolds before reflex can respond,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Has Father Time allowed Cupid to speed through barriers of time?<\/span><\/p>\n

Has love powered happiness to fly so fast it could be a love crime?<\/span><\/p>\n

Each time the Texas heat has caused my rigid form to loosely flow,<\/span><\/p>\n

Always she is near to hold me tight in a display of love only we know,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She has awakened my worn form with a kiss of love that regenerates,<\/span><\/p>\n

At thirty my hair was white, still I live with a deep pain that penetrates,<\/span><\/p>\n

The blood flowing through my veins breaks away from broken veins,<\/span><\/p>\n

By love\u2019s counterbalance I\u2019ve survived hurdles as your love remains,<\/span><\/p>\n

No doubt there\u2019s a price to pay when living in a world made of dreams,<\/span><\/p>\n

My heart has felt your heartbeat against bare flesh yet it always seems,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m yet to feel your bare flesh to mine as each time is always the first,<\/span><\/p>\n

My hungering for you can\u2019t be explained nor can this incredible thirst,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dreams of love wrapped in happiness will speed rapidly towing time,<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s never enough long minutes in play as I\u2019ve said often in rhyme,<\/span><\/p>\n

Lose that love or be starved of her and journeys will exceed the limit,<\/span><\/p>\n

Time will stretch the very fabric of space dragging out every hour in it,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cModern* English\u201d coined a phrase \u201cI\u2019ll melt with you\u201d still it holds true,<\/span><\/p>\n

Melt came to be used in love verses, I\u2019ve used it often in rhymes to you,<\/span><\/p>\n

Our first kiss came to be while shielded from Texas heat that love day,<\/span><\/p>\n

My love was born two years prior but with that kiss my love would stay.<\/span><\/p>\n
