The years have brought change to mother earth and us as well,<\/span><\/p>\n

I am more expressive with my love almost as if I\u2019m under a spell,<\/span><\/p>\n

My ears hear more of God\u2019s miracles such as songs birds sing,<\/span><\/p>\n

The seasons means there\u2019ll be beautiful changes for everything,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I truly appreciate sounds of nature including children at play,<\/span><\/p>\n

The sounds of sports while being played excite me in every way,<\/span><\/p>\n

At baseball games I love to turn to you and share the excitement,<\/span><\/p>\n

If it\u2019s my turn to bat and I see you in the stands its encouragement,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Like a youngster showing off for parents, I love to play well for you,<\/span><\/p>\n

I was also proud for every spectator to see that I was your man too,<\/span><\/p>\n

When you arrived with halter top and short shorts on, heads turned,<\/span><\/p>\n

Soon they\u2019d know that you were my wife and your love I had earned,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year I\u2019ll be seventy one years of age, I\u2019m still so proud of you,<\/span><\/p>\n

To be seen standing next to you, taking a walk, or anything we do,<\/span><\/p>\n

My heart swells with pride when you smile as you\u2019re looking at me,<\/span><\/p>\n

And when you are close enough I\u2019ll kiss you in public for all to see,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Part of my prayers is that some day everyone will see me kissing you,<\/span><\/p>\n

In a public place I\u2019ll pull you tight to kiss you with love, what\u2019ll you do?<\/span><\/p>\n

Will you accept my love kiss or turn away telling me not to do it today,<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s my final wish in my life, acceptance of my love in a public display.<\/span><\/p>\n
